Sheriff’s Dept. Recognizes Ferris
for 28 Years of Service

On Fri., Oct. 17, a luncheon was held at the Orleans County Jail and attended by several members of the Correctional Services Faith-Based Ministry. During the luncheon, one of their own was recognized by Sheriff Scott Hess for his many years of service.
David H. Ferris has been ministering to inmates since 1986. He received a plaque from the Sheriff, in recognition of his “28 Years of Dedicated & Faithful Service to the Sheriff’s Office & the County of Orleans.” While Mr. Ferris is planning to “scale-back” his ministration, he has no intention of retiring completely from this unselfish calling.
